Joe Buscemi – Operator in Search of a Legacy Business

My name is Joe Buscemi, and I’m looking to buy and run a small business for the long haul.

I have deep respect for anyone who’s built a business from scratch—overcoming setbacks, adapting to change, and showing up every day to serve their customers and community. It’s a rare kind of grit. My goal is to continue that kind of legacy—preserving what makes the business great, supporting the team, and carrying it forward with the same care and pride.

I believe small businesses are the backbone of local communities. They create jobs, relationships, and stability while generating cash flow and building wealth—not just for owners, but for employees and the communities they serve. That combination of impact and sustainability is what excites me most.

For the past 12 years, I’ve worked as a line producer in television, digital media, and feature films—managing logistics and budgets for projects ranging from a few thousand dollars to $12 million. It’s not glamorous, but it’s hands-on and high-pressure. Every project is like launching a small business: limited time, tight margins, and high stakes. You have to be resourceful, build great teams, and deliver results.

I’ve worn many hats—first as a freelancer, now on the corporate side—where I’ve learned to pair entrepreneurial hustle with systems, KPIs, and ROI-focused thinking. I’ve been able to take a lean, scrappy approach and apply it to bigger operational goals, leading teams that consistently deliver projects on time and under budget.

Now, I’m ready to take everything I’ve learned and put it to work in a real-world business—one I can grow, protect, and improve for the long term.

If you’re an owner who’s thinking about the future, I’d love the chance to hear your story and talk about how I might be able to continue what you’ve built.

Thank you for considering me.

— Joe
